Extending Your Egypt Visa
If you wish to stay in Egypt for longer than 44 days, you can extend your visa at the Visa Administration of Passports, Immigration "Gawazat."
The cost of extending your visa is 145 USD for a period of 3 months to 1 year.
In cities such as Sharm El Sheikh, Luxor, and Cairo, the process is typically faster due to the higher number of tourists extending their stays.
To extend your Egypt visa, you will need:
-
The payment must be made in Egyptian Pounds. To do this, visit a bank or exchange shop, convert 145 USD (or its equivalent in Euros) into Egyptian Pounds, and ensure your passport number is included on the receipt. You will need to present this receipt as proof of payment when you go to the office to complete the visa extension process.
